Subcontractor of activity concerning forest protection (some parts) is the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. Persons responsible for the project subcontract implementation and specialized in the evaluation and monitoring of the occurrence of under-bark insects including proposed management measures are:
- Prof. Ing. Jaroslav Holuša, Ph.D. – Professor in forest protection and game management, dealing with bionomics and pathogens of bark beetles on conifers
