The continual activity will be implemented from August 2015 to March 2016 to analyse the existing legislation, regulations related to forest management and forest planning, use of timber, logging limits, access to forests, establishment and regeneration of forest stands, forest functions etc.
Important will be findings concerning the compatibility of planning documents both from the field of forest management and planning and their relation to the management of forest ecosystems (nature conservation in the area), findings related to detailed and framework planning, period and periodicity, input data for planning documents etc.
The documents will be compared, their compatibility analysed, deficiencies searched and possibilities sought for improving the situation. It will be necessary to specify clearly the mode and extent of using the individual approaches e.g. to the categorization of forests, functions, applicability of various methods so that they fully suit the given environment. This activity is understood as an input analysis of the given environment, its functioning, connectivity, looking for deficiencies and possibilities of improvement.
