The activity will continue from October 2016 to May 2017 and will sum up knowledge from all above-mentioned activities. Forest management plan will be prepared based on the principle of sustainability and near-natural forest management.
It will take into account needs of:
- local inhabitants,
- forest functions,
- exploitability and landscape limitations (protected areas) as well as legislation – all this in relation to the pilot site.
The forest management plan will be a set of three sections: pilot site characteristics, maps, and table outputs with the outline of the units of spatial forest division and basic mensurational data so that basic forest records are established (linkage to Output 1.3).
